I had a great stay at Great Nature Suites & Spa. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the old town and just steps from the train street. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I faced issues with my Halong Bay tour. However, the lack of breakfast service was a slight disappointment but not a dealbreaker, given the many local food stalls nearby that I enjoyed. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 9.
